Privacy Policy

This policy covers Velvet Tune (also distributed as VV17) and the other audio apps and plug-ins published by 17th Dimension. We built these as musical instruments, not data products — so the short version is simple:

Audio & microphone

Velvet Tune processes audio — including microphone or line input — entirely on your device, in real time, to perform pitch correction, harmony, vocoding, EQ, reverb, and scale detection. That audio is never recorded to our servers, never transmitted off your device by the app, and never used for any purpose other than producing the sound you hear. The app requests microphone access only so it can process your input live; audio stops being processed the moment you close the app.

Data we collect

None. The app does not collect usage data, device identifiers, contacts, location, or any personal information. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to disclose, sell, or delete on request.

Third parties

The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking libraries. If you purchased or downloaded the app through the Apple App Store, Apple's own privacy policy governs the store transaction; we do not receive any personally identifying information from those purchases.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Since we collect no data, we collect no data from children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
